Corley Retreat at Shady Brook

Very nice home with three bedrooms each with there own bath.

Excellent accommodations! Three brothers and wives stayed here while visiting 4th brother and wife in The Villages. Perfect set-up for us with three bedrooms and three baths. Could not have been more pleased with location and everything about this property! Would definitely book again! Loved it! 5 stars but here are a couple of suggestions: (1) Might consider a shade or black out curtain for front bedroom. With the street light and the yard lamp right outside the window, it was almost impossible to darken down to sleep. (2) Bedroom by garage had no bed pillows….there were pillow sham pillows but hated to use them to sleep on. Maybe out a couple of bed pillows in the top of the closet for use. I travel with my own pillow but after two nights, we borrowed one for my wife from the master bedroom. And finally….my wife and I slept in the small bedroom by the garage….first night was fine, but second and third night, the slats kept coming loose causing the bed to collapse….it usually came outta nowhere and once when my wife was getting up to go to the bathroom. In the middle of the night, you hate to turn on lights and put the bed together. The next day, we adjusted and raised up mattress and repositioned the slats….only for it to keep happening. We are not large or heavy people….upon examination, my wife says she thinks the frame on the bed was sprung and kept dropping below and causing the slats to drop out. Anyway, it needs fixed. But we LOVED our stay here!!!

Everything about our stay was terrific. The home was exceptionally well appointed and the pictures did not do the home justice. The luxe linens and beds were cozy and comfortable. The location was very central to the new Eastport square and the Middleton area, as well as the Saluki rec center and the adult pool. The management company was easy to work with, gave all relevant information and were on call when needed during our stay. I would recommend not only the property but any home managed by A&J Concierge.
